Signs of Hormone Havoc

The ways women experience hormone imbalances are as varied as women themselves. Symptoms can be physical, mental, emotional, or more likely a combination of them all. These are some of the common signs:

You feel like you are on an emotional roller coaster- feelings are fragile, raw, and unpredictable. One minute you may be extremely irritated by small details and the next, on the verge of tears. Anxiety and panic episode may have ballooned out of control.

You are tired all of the time and find you are gaining weight while eating the same diet.

Self-doubt and brain fog have taken on new extremes - the occasional memory lapse is now an everyday occurrence.

You find yourself repeatedly awake at 4:00 am - sometime in a cold or hot sweat.

You're hanging by your fingernails, scare that friends, family, and co - workers suspect you're incompetent or even crazy

Sound familiar? Then this book is a must read!

I have been extremely pleased with this approach to my situation at 43 years of age. I have been on anti-depressants and also an anxiety medicine which will help me sleep when my mind races... I had the saliva testing and also urine testing and have taken hold of the approaches prescribed. I am noticing that sleep is found more easily and that I have stopped the anti-depressant. I am impressed with the results of using the natural approach rather than just what my yearly doctor appointment prescribed!

Thank you Dr. Mead and Dr. Lommen!

I think the more the message gets out there the better. I was speaking to an ObGyn the other day and I casually asked her about hormone replacement. She told me no, it's no good. It used to be prescribed but since "that study" it's just not worth it with the risk of things like breast cancer. I guess in her mind HRT meant Premarin. The sooner it stops meaning that the better.
